I lookedd at the rainbow as it reached across the sky

and somehow it reminded me of the frienship between you and I

Such lovely colors joining as it peaks around the sun

And it always amazes me how beautiful it was done.

A rainbow with such colors is like the love of a long time friend..

It comes when you need it most and it seems to have no end...

Surely God has a meaning

because he put it together up there so high..

Just like he helped develop the friendship between you and me..

If I only saw one color when I looked up in the sky

Would I take time to look or simply pass it by.

If there were two among the clouds reaching out from end to end

Would I take the time to look at it or shrug it off again.

For you are a rainbow in the clouds of my live

Your friendship is the sunshine that lights up the night.

Sometimes when I think of you I simply smile and say

God sent me a rainbow to brighten up my day.
